Ever had your kids sneak drinks and snacks into their room and spill it on their doona cover?  It usually means putting both the doona and cover in the wash. Highly annoying, especially in winter.  But because this cover is water & stain resistant, you can just wipe it down and keep using it.  It's also great for kids that are toilet training as it protects the doona from any accidents.  We hear parents & carers breath a sigh of relief!
