Configura Advance Cocoon Backrest

The Configura Cocoon Backrest is available as a backrest option for the Configura Advance chair (CR5438) and the Configura Comfort chair (CR5424). This is an adjustable backrest, providing superior support and comfort.

Offering additional comfort and support, the Cocoon backrest can be adjusted by changing the position or amount of stuffing in any of its 9 cells.

The “reduced shear backrest” mechanism on the Configura Advance and Comfort chairs complements this backrest by giving the service user extra trunk support, whilst retaining comfort and pelvic position.

On the standard Configura waterfall backrest, the Cocoon takes the place of the two bottom cushions, creating a more comfortable and supportive seating position.
