Grips Toilet Paper

Designed by the Bath Institute for Medical Engineering, the Bottom Wiper provides assistance with independent hygiene. It features a curved metal handle and moulded plastic head with recessed serrations to grip paper. The alloy curved handle minimises the movement required for the user.

Extends Your Reach

The plastic head with serrations is mounted on a long, lightweight, curved handle to give the proper reach in areas where wiping is difficult.

Instructions for Use

  • Attach the toilet paper by wrapping it around the head of the device and insert the free ends into the headpiece section with the cut-out serrations.
  • Use from either the front or the rear.  Both methods are equally effective.
  • To remove the paper, simply pull out from the cut-out in the headpiece.

Cleaning and Care

  • Wipe over with a damp cloth and solution of mild detergent.
  • The plastic heads can be washed in hot (not boiling) water with mild detergent.
